Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy applications and services on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using various tools and technologies.
- Develop integrations between SAP on-premise systems and SAP BTP services, as well as with other cloud and on-premise applications.
- Utilize BTP services such as SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAPUI5, SAP Fiori, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP Workflow Management, SAP HANA Cloud, and others as required.
- Develop and consume APIs (OData, REST) for seamless data exchange and integration.
- Work with different data sources and databases within the BTP environment.
- Implement security best practices for BTP applications and services.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing of developed solutions.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Develop technical documentation for developed solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BTP applications and integrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BTP features, services, and best practices.
- Participate in the design and architecture of cloud-based solutions on SAP BTP.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in developing applications and integrations on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Strong proficiency in at least two or more of the following BTP services and technologies:
- SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js or Java
- SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori development
- SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Platform Integration - CPI)
- SAP Workflow Management
- SAP HANA Cloud and related database technologies
- SAP Event Mesh
- SAP Build (Apps, Process Automation, Work Zone)
- Experience with developing and consuming APIs (OData, REST).
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
- Experience with Git and other version control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- SAP BTP certifications are a plus.
